Our world is filled with signs. Street signs, traffic control signs, informational signs, warning signs.
Signs work because they provide information or instruction when no-one else is around. When well designed and properly placed they are extremely effective – and cost effective – ways to alert staff, customers, visitors and students to hazards, requirements, directions and opportunities.
According to the American Society of Safety Professionals clarity, location and proper use are the three most important factors in effectively communicating your message.
